For the last 40 years, we have developed highly accurate forging processes for customers’ transmission components.
Our forge production cells are currently based in the UK and India. They serve our transmissions customers with synchroniser rings up to 120mm in diameter. Further expansion is planned for 2012.
Forging Process
Our forging lines world-wide have a total annual capacity for over 20 million parts.
The process is fully automated using closed die technology, with up to 1,000 tonnes capacity.
Following the forging process, parts are automatically transferred through the de-flashing process and are 100% stress relieved in house.
